Testing For Gas Leaks

There's a right way, and several very wrong ways to test for a gas leaks. If you suspect a gas leak at your home, don't take chances - call the professionals immediately! (That would be us 😉 )

This is how we check for gas leaks on your gas fitting line. The gauge with the hoses hanging off it is called a manometer. When we hook a manometer up to your gas pipes and conduct a pressure test it will show the tiniest leak. Then all we have to do is find the leak.

On this gas fitting we will replace the rusty steel pipework because it has leaks galore!! Too many to find.
